This year was an extremely productive year for our students — most of them joined straight from school with one or two more mature (with prior musical learning) joining to expand their sonic horizons.

The students created a number of studio and live projects including a generative ambient soundtrack for a horror / mystery short and an upfront score for a short drama. They also put on a magnificent live show with live electronics,  DJ sets and immersive projections to a large, appreciative audience of students and staff, in the lecture theatre.  

Besides producing music for film they also learned to make films themselves — forming small production companies and making short dramas and expressionistic films, which they also scored with their own music.

Two of our most productive students were also awarded a day in a top professional recording studio to produce their own tracks.
